Ziziphi Seed,also called Sour Jujube Seed, Ziziphus Jujuba,Semen Ziziphi Spinosae, Spina Date Seed, Suanzaoren. It is mainly grown in provinces of Hebei, Shanxi, Liaoning, Henan, Shaanxi, Shandong, and Gansu in China.It is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for purposes related to irritability, insomnia, anxiety, oedema, congestive heart failure, asthma and throat diseases.Ziziphi seed contains jujuboside A, jujuboside B, betulinic acid, betulin and other active substance.
